The Three Essential Traits of a Scalable Body of Work
If you’re looking to scale in 2026, your body of work needs to be these three things:
💸 PROFITABLE -> we’re running a business here, if it’s not making you money (and I mean the real good money that funds your life), then we have a problem
♥️TRANSFORMATIONAL -> your people are at the heart of everything you do, which means your body of work needs to be architected to deliver massive results… even when you’re not in the room
✨ALIGNED -> not someone else’s model, not the trendy offer du jour, every moving piece of your body of work needs to be intentionally designed to support YOU. Your energy, your needs, your life, your priorities.
But what happens when you have only have two out of three of those traits? Let’s break it down.
Profitable + Aligned, but not Transformational?
symptoms:
Continually reinventing the offer because it doesn’t quite land
Low completion rates, high churn, absolute crickets in the community
Constantly adding in bonus calls, additional trainings, more of YOU to get people across the finish line
No referrals, no raving, no renewing
how to fix it:
If YOU are the transformation engine in your business... that’s not sustainably scalable. We need to:
Strategically design offers to deliver even if you're not in the room
Implement learning psych principles
Address program orientations and meta-structure
Dial in your Learner Archetype(s) and ecosystem journey so that your people get exactly what the need, when they need it (that's called flowwww baby)
practical example:
BEFORE: Client P is manually re-teaching core elements of her curriculum on live calls to ensure progress, which ties student enrolment to her bandwidth
AFTER:
We re-designed the program orientation to teach her people how to leverage the materials
Cut down the trainings into smaller bite sized pieces with clear action steps
Added in asynchronous material review to keep the intimacy but on a scalable level
Transformational + Aligned, but not Profitable?
SYMPTOMS:
Your bank account is not feeling as deliciously lush as you would like
People rave about working with you... but then don’t renew or buy another offer
You low-key resent your people for balking at the price when the offer is SO DAMN GOOD.
Every dollar feels tied to max capacity delivery
how to fix it:
While ‘just raise your prices’ is sometimes a solution... it’s rarely the only issue when it comes to profitability. We need to get under the hood to address:
how your offers fit into your full ecosystem
industry positioning
what your audience is primed for
your pricing psychology
your packaging + delivery model
your thought leadership runway
practical example:
BEFORE: Client K was getting incredible results in her group program, but sales were a struggle despite continually lowering the price.
AFTER:
Repositioned the program away from ‘accountability’ (which typically has a low price point and doesn’t speak to core needs)
Honed in her client archetype to get hyper specific to one part of the client journey
Cut out 2 of her offers that were cannibalizing this one
RAISED the price... by like a lot.
Profitable + Transformational, but not Aligned?
symptoms:
You’re exhausted, resentful, not to mention BORED
It’s starting to feel like a golden cage, too good to burn down but slowly draining you
You fantasize about deleting everything and disappearing
You’re constantly shoving down nudges of what you ACTUALLY want to be saying or doing in your business
how to fix it:
When things are draining or soul-itchy inside your work, we need to look at:
your model (does it fit your life + needs?)
your energy (how does it like to flow?)
your delivery (what lights you up?)
your brand (does it express YOU)
your magic (where are you diluting or holding yourself back?)
practical example:
BEFORE: Client S felt claustrophobic in her current positioning, like she was playing too small. She had all these creative urges that didn’t have a home in any of her current offers.
AFTER:
We tapped into her next level brand expression, broadening her thought leadership to a whole framework
We elevated one core offer and closed down the rest
We found a strategic way for her to bring all of her magical, artistic self out in her content (so her nervous system didn’t freak out that it ‘didn’t make sense’)
To sum it up…
The whole point of building a business like ours is that you get to live the life you want, create massive impact, and get deliciously well compensated for the brilliance you bring.
So if your body of work isn’t profitable, transformational, or lighting your soul the eff up…
